Draztik Measurez stond dit jaar in de finale van de Grote Prijs van Nederland.

Dit schreeft ART12 over onze show: “Contender four: were the Draztik Measurez from Rotterdam. You know them from the battle between them and Killa Tactics on the second edition of School Of HardKnocks. They came up with five young men. The intro original and funky. It contained dope samples from the mid seventies. The Reggae swinging beats really made the crowd moving around. You could hear they were from Rotterdam. The groove was just as that from Postman or E-Life. They used a lot of video acts. These guys definitely were candidates to win this shit..”

Collabo met Cilvaringz!

De opnames van deze tracks moeten ergens in 1999 zijn geweest, rond deze tijd zat ik nog in de formatie Draztik Measurez.

Via D-Son, die ook in de groep zat, kwamen we in contact met Cilvaringz en zn click “the Henchmen”.

We werden uitgenodigd om bij hun thuis te komen recorden, net rond de periode dat Cilvaringz getekend werd door Wu-Tang.

We namen die periode een aantal tracks op, waaronder dus deze twee nummers, die later op Cilvaringz zn “Have Sword, Will Travel” verzamel album/mixtape zijn komen te staan.
